To our friends around the globe,

At this difficult and uncertain moment of COVID-19, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. It is important that we come together as a global community to fight this deadly virus. As we continue to better understand from our experts how to slow the spread of COVID-19, we all have a responsibility to stay safe and protect others. “Creating a cycle of altruism is helpful when we are faced with a challenge that affects us all, helping to foster trust in each other and care for each other’s plight”

We hope and pray that you and your love ones stay safe and healthy during this unprecedented period. ATEFEO appreciates your support!

Supplying homeless children with healthcare, education, shelter, love and happiness

As an orphanage, our goals, and objectives are to provide a safe, nurturing home for the abused, neglected, and homeless children and ensure that the children in our care receive food, clothing, health care, shelter, and most importantly, love and security.

ATEFEO – The founder, the story and the vision

ATEFEO is a non-profit organization created by Nicole Kambou in Burkina Faso to serve children whose parents have died from HIV-AIDS or the civil war in neighbouring Ivory Coast. ATEFEO allows children to establish a foundation of well-being by giving them love, protection, support and encouragement, as well as ensuring they attend school with the necessary supplies.
